Another game they like to play is to keep you, the homeowner, in the dark. This one is very sneaky as it allows them to do as they please to a large extent. Typically this will lead to projects taking longer than promised, work not being done correctly or up to your expectations and higher costs.
Ultimately, if a price or timeline sound too good to be true… they probably are.
Contractor Red Flags
During interviews with potential contractors, you’ll want to be on the lookout for certain red flags. Here are a few that you should be on the lookout for:
